In October 2020 my family and I visited Wizard Woods in Alderly Edge, Cheshire. We did lots of exploring and the beautiful autumnal leaves covered everything in copper, orange, red and brown tones.

There were a lot of people there today, so too busy really to do any proper grounding (it was so noisy!!), but it was still nice to get out in nature and see what we could find. The views from the top were amazing too!

I only managed to forage some sweet chestnuts (my fingertips were so sore after opening them!!) and holly berries.

Sweet chestnuts: Can be used for purging, banishing rituals and in spellwork. Placing a bowl of sweet chestnuts in each room of a new home can be done for blessing the home and to attract abundance and prosperity. They are good for peace of mind. They can be eaten to encourage fertility and desire and may be carried as a charm by women who wish to conceive. It is said that sitting underneath the sweet chestnut tree can help ground and clarify the mind during meditation.
Holly berries: Can be used in consecration and in spells for material gain, physical revenge, beauty, protection (especially against lightening), luck and dream magic. They can also be used in any ritual relating to death and rebirth.
I also found two cool pebbles. One has veins of quartz in it and the other is an entire quartz pebble!!
